The Short Version

These terms are the agreement between you and Southern Fox Designs when you use southernfoxdesigns.com or buy anything from us. Please read them before you place an order, because once you check out you are agreeing to everything written here. If there is something in here you are not comfortable with, get in touch before you buy and we will talk it through. We are a small shop and we would much rather sort something out over the phone than have anyone surprised later.

Who We Are

Southern Fox Designs is a small business based at 2667 US 69 S, Greenville, TX 75402. We print direct to film transfers, stickers, banners and shirts. Where these terms say we, us or our, they mean Southern Fox Designs. Where they say you, they mean the person or business placing the order.

Placing an Order

When you check out, you are making an offer to buy. The order is not final until we accept it, and we accept it when we send you a confirmation email. We can turn an order down if the artwork breaks these terms, if we cannot print it to a standard we are happy with, if there is an obvious pricing error on the site, or if we suspect fraud. If we turn your order down after you have paid, we refund you in full, and we tell you why.

Your Artwork

You are responsible for the file you send us. Please supply artwork at 300 DPI at the finished print size, ideally as a PNG with a transparent background. We print what you give us. We do not redraw, resize or fix files unless you ask us to and we agree to it first. If a file is too low in resolution to print well, we will tell you before we run it and you can send a better one. If you ask us to go ahead anyway, the result is on you and we cannot refund it for being blurry. Please check your spelling too, because we print names exactly as you type them.

What We Cannot Print

By uploading a file you confirm that you own it or that you have permission to use it. We cannot print copyrighted characters, brand logos, team marks, celebrity likenesses or anything else belonging to someone else, no matter who is asking or how small the run is. We also turn down artwork that is hateful, threatening, obscene or illegal. We reserve the right to refuse any design at our own discretion, and we do not have to explain the call. If a rights holder comes after us over a file you supplied, you agree to cover the cost of that.

Prices and Payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and can change without notice, although a change never affects an order we have already confirmed. Payment is due in full at checkout. We accept the payment methods shown on the site, and payments are handled by our processors rather than by us. Sales tax is added where the law requires it. If a price on the site is clearly wrong, we can cancel the order and refund you rather than honor the mistake.

Turnaround Time

We aim for a quick turnaround time on every job, and most orders leave our shop within a few business days of us approving the file. Turnaround starts the day we approve your artwork, not the day you place the order. Busy seasons, large gang sheets and files that need a second look can add time. Any timing we quote is an honest estimate rather than a guarantee, and we are not liable for a deadline of yours that gets missed. If your job is tied to a hard date, tell us before you order and we will be straight with you about whether we can make it.

Shipping and Pickup

Free shipping applies on orders over $200. Below that, shipping is charged at checkout. Once your parcel is handed to the carrier, delivery is in their hands, and we cannot control weather, delays or a truck that goes missing. Please double check your shipping address before you pay. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong, you cover the cost of sending it out again. Local pickup is available at our Greenville shop, and we hold pickup orders for 30 days.

Pressing Your Transfer

Press at 320 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 degrees Celsius, with medium pressure, for 12 to 15 seconds. Let it cool for 15 seconds, peel, then press again for durability. Every heat press runs a little differently, so we strongly suggest a test press on a scrap garment first. We are not responsible for garments you ruin while pressing, for a press that is out of calibration, or for transfers applied to a fabric they were never meant for. If you are not sure, call us before you press.

Returns, Refunds and Reprints

Every transfer we make is custom, so we cannot take returns simply because you changed your mind. What we absolutely will do is fix our own mistakes. If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, the wrong size or the wrong quantity, contact us within seven days of delivery with photographs and we will reprint it or refund it. That is not a grudging policy, it is the whole point of running a small shop. We cannot refund files that printed exactly as supplied, transfers that were pressed incorrectly, or color that looks different from your screen.

Changes and Cancellations

Tell us fast. If your order has not gone to print yet, we can usually change it or cancel it. Once it is printed we cannot, because it is yours and nobody else's.

Colors on Screen

Every monitor and phone shows color differently, and no screen is calibrated to our printer. We do our best to match what you sent, but a small shift between your screen and the finished print is normal and is not a fault.

Our Website and Content

The text, photographs, logo and fox artwork on this site belong to Southern Fox Designs. Please do not copy them, resell them or pass them off as your own. You are very welcome to look, share a link and shop.

Accounts

If you make an account, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has got into it.

Liability

We stand behind our printing, and our responsibility to you is capped at what you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost customers, a missed market stall or a wedding that went ahead without the shirts. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under law that cannot be signed away.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Hunt County, Texas. If a court decides that one part of these terms cannot stand, the rest of them still do.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the business grows. The version posted on the site when you order is the version that applies to that order.
